H.O.P.E. Employment Support Ministry is a team of volunteers who offer support, inspiration and practical job-hunting information to people of any faith, and from any community. They offer those who attend their meetings, a chance to network with other job-seekers and employers, hear guest speakers, learn job search techniques, and gather information to aid them in finding employment. We also provide job leads from many types of businesses for positions at varying levels. HOPE Employment Support Ministry meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. at the following locations: St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Orland Hills on the first Tuesday of each month and Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Orland Park on the third Thursday of each month. For more information call the Christian Service Office .

Food Drives and Gift Collection
St. Mary's Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving. All parishioners are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the church at all the Saturday and Sunday Masses. St. Mary's response has always been extremely generous and large amounts of donated food items are distributed to Morning Star Mission, The Spanish Community Center, Warren Sharpe Community Center, the Peter Claver Center and the Frankfort Township Food Pantry. We also have a Spring Food Collection in May to help supply the Frankfort Township Food Pantry in the summer months.
This year our parish will have the Giving Tree to collect Christmas Gifts for needy families living in our area. Six charitable community organizations depend and greatly appreciate our parishioners' generosity at this time of year. The six organizations we support are: Warren Sharpe Community Center, The Spanish Community Center, Vilaseca, St. Coletta's, Trinity Services, and FISH. The gift collection weekend will be December 5 & 6 this year.
